Hello everyone, and welcome to another episode of Crystal Sideline Buzz. Today, I will be discussing something that is sparking concerns in Milwaukee involving Giannis and the Bucks.

        Breaking News

According to ESPN, Giannis Antetokounmpo and his agent are currently having conversations with the Bucks organization about whether Giannis should stay or leave Milwaukee. The bucks are 11th in the Eastern Conference and is 9-13 losing eight of the nine games. Several sources have indicated that the Greek Freak grew fustration. During the offseason, there were drastic changes within the roster where the bucks did lose a lot of key players espeically with unexpcted departure of Damian Lillard.  However, it was alleged that Giannis over the offseason were opne to playing for other teams outside of Milwaukee like the New York Knicks.

On October 1, 2026 Giannis will be eligible for a four year, $275 million maximum extension through the 2030-31 season. He would be able to sign the same deal with anotehr team six month after the trade if he is moved. Sources says that during the training camp, it was alleged that Giannis wanted to join another team wanting to compete for a champiomship, eve nthough he was expressed his commitment to Milwaukee at the beginning of teh tear and now is leaving a window open of the possbility of changing his mind and maybe leaving?

The Bucks went 0-4 when the star player had to sit out four cinsective games with te groin injury last month. the team ahave a 1-5 record in games withoout him and even though Giannis is back in the lineup over the past week.

Deja vu Moment in Milwaukee

Former Milwaukee Bucks star Kareem Adul Jabbar wanted to leave Milwaukee and privately requsted a trade in October 1974 because he felt he was not a good fit for the city. After his final season with the Bucls, eventually was traded to the Los Angeles Laker in June of 1975.  After the trade the Bucks recieved an exchange for Elmore Smith, Brian Winters, Dave Meyers and Junior Bridgeman.
